Manhattan by JLL Pearl

There are pieces that start from contrast. Manhattan began with the idea of placing two large baroque pearls — white, luminous, irregular — against something opposite. In fact, the starting point was the sapphire ball: deep navy, pavé-set in silver, 12mm. This baroque pearl sapphire macramé bracelet built itself around that centre. The dark cord came last, and yet it held everything together.

Blue Sapphires Against White Nacre

The central ball is pavé-set with faceted blue sapphires on a silver base — dense navy, shifting from cold to warm in different lights. On each side, a small diamond bicone creates a clean separation from the baroque pearls. Still, the pearls hold their ground: 12mm, AA+ quality, white with a soft silver-pink undertone. Their surfaces move in the light where the sapphire ball stays fixed.

A Macramé Bracelet That Needs No Clasp

Manhattan works on a sliding knot — no clasp, no rigid hardware. Indeed, the dark grey satin macramé cord tightens and loosens around the wrist until the fit feels right. Because there is no fastening point, it lies flush against the skin. Two small freshwater pearls finish the cord ends.
