Samos by JLL Pearl

Samos is a freshwater pearl gold chain bracelet built around a single contrast. One large round freshwater pearl, white with soft nacre, sits at the centre. The band is three chains — gold, silver, and dark oxidized metal — braided together by hand. And that pairing is what makes this piece different from everything else in the line.

Three Chains, One Band

The gold chain, the silver chain, and the dark chain run side by side. They are braided by hand, so the texture is never flat. Also, a cord runs through them, which adds form without added weight. As a result, the band catches light at every angle. And it holds its shape on the wrist without going stiff.

The Freshwater Pearl

The central pearl is large, round and white. So it reads clearly even on a moving wrist. Two fine chains — one gold, one silver — hang loose from each side and move as you move. But they never look like added decor — they are part of the piece. Two small freshwater pearls close the cord ends; the bracelet adjusts by sliding the knot.
